The Lodge

Where the Fishing Stories Happen

About 9 years ago, we began to build a main lodge and guest cabins at one of our favorite locations, a lovely crystal clear  lake centrally located just south of Prince George, British Columbia. Along with being a trophy lake for Rainbow trout, producing great fish in the 2-8 lb. range, this area of north central BC is full of natural beauty and charm.

The camp consists of a main lodge where all dining and fishing stories take place as well as four private cabins. Each cozy cabin sleeps two to four people comfortably with room for luggage, fishing gear and a game of cards. Every cabin is equipped with a wood-stocked front porch and a small wood stove. Three of the four cabins are situated overlooking the lake with a fourth cabin nestled behind. Behind the main lodge is a shower house with hot running water and a wood fired sauna to relax in after a day of fishing. If you’re looking to wind down some more, we have a cedar wood-fired hot tub to enjoy.

If you are staying for a couple days as our cabin guest, you will receive hardy home cooked breakfasts and dinners in the main lodge and a picnic style lunch for the length of your stay. In the evenings (or early mornings if you’re a trooper) we have kayaks, a walking trail and various boats to take out around the lake where you will hear the loons calling.

Northern Outback Adventures offers professional licensed guided salmon fly fishing and spey casting trips in Northern British Columbia’s waters.
